Jan. 12-22, 2012 - Ice on Whyte festival

Join dozens of ice carvers as they descend on Edmonton this January for a sparkling tribute to the winter season.

New this year, Ice on Whyte has a little help from Edmonton’s newest sister city and province, Harbin, Heilongjiang , China to transform Old Strathcona into an ice and snow wonderland! They have some knowledge on the subject as they host some of the largest ice and snow carving festivals in the world.

From January 13th to 23, 2011 celebrate the festivities while watching artists whittle blocks of ice into masterpieces during the International Carving Competition, exploring an Ice Pagoda, speeding down a giant dragon ice slide, and warming up with a cup of coffee or hot chocolate in a heated tent.And it’s not all ice! In a collaboration of talent between artists from China and Canada enjoy art, music, dance and more presented by the Confucius Institute in the heated entertainment tent.

Admission to the festival is $5 for adults, $2.50 for children 2-12 and children under 2 are free. The festival is open weekdays from 2 pm to 10 pm and from 10 am to 10 pm on weekends.

Located in Old Strathcona, one of Edmonton’s trendiest neighbourhoods, Ice on Whyte takes place in Festival Park, 104 Street and 85 Avenue.  For more information on Ice on Whyte, visit IceonWhyte.ca.

For those of you who attended our Client Appreciation BBQ we thank you. Your continuous support is more appreciated than you know. We truly take pride in being able to put on events like this to show our gratitiude. We hope you had a great time, we certainly did. May 25, 2006: Buying, Selling, and Investing Seminar

Our first information seminar was very well recieved by past, current and future clients. John Carter spoke on general buying information for first time buyers and on how to avoid costly mistakes when buying. He also spoke on how to sell for the highest and best price, as well as what you can do to prepare to sell. Investing in real estate was also touched on. Our two guest speakers: Jay Kelly from Centum Elite Mortgage spoke on various mortgage products currently available, and James Song from Bosecke & Song LLP spoke on legal issues to watch for in the real estate transaction.
 

December 14th, 2005: Sponsor a Bus for Bright Nights

We had a great time playing host to our bus full of kids and their families from St. Alphonsus’ school. We saw the lights at Hawrelak Park, then past the Legislature and finally onto Sir Winston Churchill Square.
